I tend to read the ones for parenting advice because I have an education degree with minors that allow me to teach birth through grade 12, although I prefer the "5 and under" crowd. I've also taken parent and child courses that have dealt with the usual- potty training, biting, etc. I also taught in a childcare center with a preschool for 6 years and was the director for 2 years. Plus, I'm a mother. I feel qualified to give advice when the OP asks for it. Unfortunately they often don't want to hear what any of us have to say.
I do have a problem with people who don't have kids telling posters that they do a rotten job of parenting and if "I had kids it'd be different.
" Yeah, come back after you've had a couple.
I also have a problem with parents that are incredibly clueless. They post some of the stuff their kids have done and then say "But that's normal kid stuff." Uh, no. That's a kid that needs supervision.
