This is offered in the Oceaneer Club under the 3-4 year age group and I notice at some times the Oceaneer Club has both the 3-4 group and 5-7 group at the same time but different activities. Do they keep them segregated. I'm asking because DD will be 6 but she is a very small petite 5 right now (can still wear 4T) and she would probably enjoy this more than the activity for the 5-7 year group offered at this time. Will they let her participate or are the ages strictly enforced?

Thanks!

You can only do the activities that are going on for your age group. That is what she will be signed in (5-7 group) as so if she has an activity going on with her group she will be doing that and not have the option to just join the 3-4. Does that make sense?

It does. Thank you!!!!

are there any activities that the two groups do together?? (my two sons will be 3 and 6 when we cruise and I expect they would quite like to do some things together if they are available) - thanks!!:thumbsup2

You can check out the navigators linked in the DIS DCL FAQ thread at the top of this forum to see what activities are offered and when the two age groups are together. When there are activities like the Do Si Do or Mouskateer Training they only have the age group participating in the club area. The other age group will be somewhere else on the ship, usually the lab.

If you sign her into the 3-4 group and stay with her you will both be given visitor nametags. That will be fine. :)

In that regard, my dd is 4, but almost 5. She will be registered for the 3-4 group. Could she, by herself, "visit" her brother in the 5-6 section? Or would I have to stay with her?

I'm wondering the same thing. My dd will be turning 5 3 weeks after the cruise. Her sister will be 7. I was hoping (planning actually) that they would be together. There is no way I will get the younger one in the kids club if she can't be with her sister.

Oh my! More to learn. I see I need to go back to those trusty Navigator pages and scan again for yet more info!

I have a 3(4 by cruise time) and a 6 year old who are always together (6 year old still at home) Have to wonder how they will do apart but then again, they are apart for church groups, etc. so may be okay!

Off to check out those Navigators, sounds like some activities are together?

Hi again - sorry to sound daft, but just wanted to check!!:lmao: ....

...I've looked at the Navigators and FAQ and I can see that on the Navigators timetable there are odd occassions where the same activities are listed for both 3-4 and 5-6 age groups - does that mean they will be together or just doing the same things but still seperate??

I just wanted to clarify - sorry!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
