Do servers ever switch from one ship to the other?

We had Alun as our server on the Wonder last summer and he was great--just loved listening to that scottish accent. Just wondering if servers ever switch ships--thought if they did, perhaps we might get lucky and have him on our Magic cruise too.

Yes our server on the Wonder had been on the Magic and our asst server on the Magic had been on the Wonder.

Yes - our favorite server (Steve from Trinidad) was moving from the Wonder to the Magic.

We saw one of our Magic servers (Burchill), on the wonder this past March.

Looks like they change it up a bit!

Yes, some servers do, but not many. Many crew on the Magic have been there since the beginning, and therefore did many short trips before the Magic changed to 7 day cruises. I think they prefer the longer ones. (Although if you have difficult guests - its better to have them for 3/4 days, rather than 7!!!)Nat

Interesting. Our server on the Wonder said he preferred the shorter cruises as when on the Magic you have a lot of sea days where the guests are ALL there. Much busier and more hectic for them.
Guess it is all in the way you approach your work.
