Do ride seats get hot?

I can tell you this be carefull with the kids getting into a rental car after a day at the park!! My DD got her leg burned bad on a leather seat 1 year and it was in April....

We have never noticed any hot seats on the rides.

However, last week my granddaughter wanted to sit in those seats at the back of the bus. Not only are the seats hot, the part where your legs hang over the seat are hot too. Granddaughter complained about it burning the back of her calves.
