Do rented points get the same DVC perks?

I am renting points to a family friend and was wondering if they get the same perks as dvc members like free wi-fi? Also they are staying in a studio at kidani. Do they have laundry facilities and would they be free like a dvc member or do they have to pay?

All deluxe resorts have free Wi-Fi for all now (previously there was no Wi-Fi at all - for anyone). The renters would not receive free wired Internet, unless it was an oversight (which has happened).

I can't speak to the laundry.

Anyone staying in Kidani has access to the free laundry rooms- just like anyone else if they are in a studio or want more than 1 wash packet every 4 days they will need to buy/bring there own detergent.

They are not supposed to get the member discounts on other items and may or may not get the free video rental .

If they are paying for the room they are not supposed to get the dvc perks and should be listed as a renter with MS if yopu are gifting them the room then they technically should get some member perks buy certainly not the AP discount.

they will get a free wi-fi - the problem is if they are charged for it - they have to pay because they will not have your blue card to show they are members.

all dvc resorts have free launday mats - now they do not look like they are free - so make sure they know not to put money in the machine.

at Kidani they are on the first floor near the gym (I think)

since they are just getting a studio have you tried for Jambo House - like the location a little better and the more reasonable food choices are here. all dvc units are on the 5th floor with the laundry mat - they will need their key.

Free wifi is really no longer a DVC perk as everyone in all deluxe and moderate resorts gets it, DVC or not.

At Kidani, laundry is on the first floor near the community room. The gym is out by the pool.
