Do rental agencies price match?

I see that Budget has a mid sized SUV for $159/week and Dollar has a minivan for $199/week. I would prefer to book with National. Has anyone ever called and had a car rental agency match anothers prices?

Sometimes you can be successful with this but it usually will only work at the counter. I think if you were using a smaller agency you would have better luck but National doesn't need to price match to get the business at MCO.

That simply does not happen, trust me, I have tried.
