Do recognize this song or the singer?

If you go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IkR2xiZ5Tk, it's titled "Gordon Lightfoot Beautiful.wmv" but that's not the song or the artist. It's a woman singing, very pretty - song & voice.

I tried Googling different parts of the lyrics to see if I could find the song but no luck. Anyone recognize the song or the singer?

In case the link doesn't work, it was put up by "atyourserviceable".

The song sounds familiar, but I can't think of what it is. Seems like I've heard it with a little bit faster tempo. Not sure.

Truthfully it sounds like Carrie Underwood or Jewel...... kind of non descript yet very beautiful. I can't believe nobody has taken credit for it!

I looked at that list of covers too but like the OP said, it's not Gordon Lightfoot's "Beautiful". There is one artist there, Lori Cullen, that it sounds a bit like...

Sounds a lot like Sarah McLachlan to me.

Thanks for the suggestions. It's not a Lightfoot song though, so it's not a cover of his.
I listened to a couple by Jewel but she sounds like she has a slight country twang.

I don't think that it sounds like anyone that is singing right now, like Carrie Underwood, Jewel, etc. She has her own voice. I tried clicking on the person who posted the video and there are several postings to him asking him who the singer and song of that video are. He never answers

I tried entering different lines from the lyrics onto songlyrics.com but nothing comes up. It's like the song doesn't exist. weird. now that i have the song memorized ....

It's a pretty song, isn't it? And she has a pretty voice. Maybe she's an up & coming singer. It's a shame the company didn't provide her name. I don't think the person who posted the original song knows who this is, he/she explained that the company that took Lightfoot's song off, put this one in it's place.

I tried Shazam but it came back with nothing. Maybe it's not a famous singer, maybe someone recorded it and it never really got anywhere. I really like it though.
