Do rates fluctuate?

Just wondered if the resort room rates are set for each year, value, regular and peak, and they don't change; or is it worthwhile to keep checking for a drop in price?

Also, do websites like Travelocity always have the same rate as Disney direct?

Disney sets their rates a year at a time and they stay that rate until the next year. The only way they change is if you get some type of discount such as AAA, Annual Pass, email code, postcard code, etc.

Have never used Travelocity, so not sure about their rates.

I want to say that Travelocity has the same rack rates that Disney itself has. The only way to get a different rate than rack would be to get a discount ie: AAA, Fl Resident, AP, Email Promo Code etc... usually not thru an online travel sites such as Expeida & Travelocity... mind you I say usually because you never know what Disney will do.
