Do QS restaurants accept gift cards?

We're going in November (day after T'giving) because DD's high school band is marching in the MK parade. She'll undoubtedly be flitting around with her friends and eating with them, and their packages will not allow for the QSP or DDP. I'd like to avoid her carrying cash, so I was wondering if the various QS eateries would accept gift cards. I know the kiosks around WS do for F&W, but I've never tried with a QS.

Also, can you get gift cards at the resort? The Disney store here went under a while back.

Does QS mean "quick service" (more commonly known as "counter service")? If so, the answer is "yes." All counter service restaurants in the WDW parks will accept a gift card as payment.

The gift cards can be purchased in any gift shop at any of the WDW resorts or parks.

I get mine all the time at r Shop Rite. So try where ever they
sell gift cards. And yes they take them all over Disney

Thats a great idea..I hate to carry alot of cash myself and being able to use gift cards around Disney World helps to save on the credit cards

Do the popcorn/ice cream and other snack carts take the gift card as well?

If it is a fixed location with a cash register it is set up to take credit and debit, hotel charges and Disney Gift Cards. If is a small portable cart without a register it is cash only.

Yeah, Disney seems to go back and forth with it, and we're getting the QSP for our trip, so I guess I had that on the brain.

I get mine all the time at r Shop Rite.

I don't know if we have those nearby. Is that a grocery store? Food Lion sells all sorts of gifts cards but I've never noticed Disney ones. I never paid attention because they tack on a crazy fee to the amount.

I gave DS a gift card to use during our trip in June and he had no problems what so ever.
