I know the non-face characters do for obvious safety reasons, but I don't know if the Princesses need one. I'm planning on sending dh to princess meals alone with dd but I want to make sure someone there can take dh's picture with some of the princesses since I won't be there to do it.

We went to the Princess Storybook Breakfast in 2005, and none of the princesses had handlers.

We were at 1900 Park Fare in 2006 or 2007 and the face characters there also did not have handlers.

If there is a CM around (server, host, etc.), I'm sure they'd be happy to snap a photo of your DH and DD for you.

No the princesses don't have handlers - I'm sure a server would take your picture. Or maybe someone at the next table!

The wait staff is happy to take pictures for you. Non face character meals also don't have handlers but the wait staff are happy to take pictures for you.

bummer. Thanks, y'all. I hope dh doesn't mind asking. Neither of us like to feel like we're "bothering" people by asking for favors like that. I logically know they won't mind, but we're just not comfortable with it.

A lot of time the staff will ask if they can take the picture for you, especially if they see that you are by yourself.

None of the characters (face or costumed) have handlers at the meals. Servers will be happy to take pictures if asked. Also, I experienced people at tables around me and DD offering to take pictures of us. I never asked, but it happened more than once that someone would come over and ask if I wanted them to take a picture of DD and I together with the characters. I always offered to return the favor so their entire family could have a picture together. pixiedust:

Actually, every character meal will have an attendant there. You may just not see them, because they will be wandering around the restaurant. If you need a picture taken, and they are not in the vicinity, I would ask one of the servers (or even a guest nearby. I've had to do that before, since I do most of my dining solo).
