Do Plus passes from 2000 cover Disney Quest?

I bought Park Hopper Plus Passes in spring 2000, with 4 "extra pluses" on them, and have never used the pluses. I called Disney to see if they were good for Disney Quest and the reservationist could not tell me and said I would have to have them scanned when I arrived to find out.

The thing is, if they are not valid for DQ, then I would want to get discounted DQ tickets in advance. If I wait until I arrive and they are not valid, I would wind up paying full price for DQ tickets on site.

It seems there is a wealth of information here - does anyone know if spring 2000 "plus" features would be good for DQ? Thanks for any thoughts.

Those plus passes do not have DQ as an option (the 5, 6, and 7 day plus passes never did).

Nope. We tried to use our 2000 passes with no luck in August just to see. We ended up using the discounted tickets to DQ I had previously purchased. Still hoping those PLUSes we have from several trips in the past will be good for DQ someday....it took a few years, but they opened up AK on old park hoppers, so I am hopeful.

I wouldn't set my heart on it happening. The reason that the AK restriction on older tickets was lifted 9 months after that park opened was lower than anticipated attendance at that park. DQ doesn't suffer from that problem.

No, Older Park Hopper Plus passes do not include Disney Quest unless they say specifically on the ticket. There are some park hoppers that are 2PLUS 1DQ tickets, or variations of that, but it says on the back of the tickets. Disney Quest wasn't added onto the plus options until the tickets printed this past January and newer. When you purchased your tickets, you didn't "pay" for DisneyQuest.

You'll need to purchase tickets.

What the agent said over the phone was correct too. WDW isn't allowed to release ticket information over the phone, due to the possibility of a mis-communication in the ticket.
