do places still take printed coupons?

I can't seem to find any good coupons. I've printed some online, but want to make sure places like wal mart and the commissary still accept them on things like dog food. I need to buy a paper, I guess. Where else can I get good coupons for things we will actually use?

I used my printed coupons at WalMart all the time. (used 3 yesterday) Never had any trouble, even in the self serve lane.
Often I will look online to find coupons right through the manufacturer. ie: If I want to buy a kelloggs product I just do a search, of go right to Kelloggs website.
I wanted the new Windex window cleaning kit (12.95 WalMart) so looked up Windex window cleaner- Got $2.50 off, and another coupon gave me the refill pack free ($4.97) when buying the kit!
I also belong to MyPoints, and they have a coupon link.

I use them at our Commissary all the time. We go to 3 different ones and all of them have taken the printed coupons with no problems. I saved $69 last time and $74 the time before that, thanks mostly to the printed coupons.

As far as grocery stores, ACME is the only one around here (NJ) that takes them that I know of. I haven't tried them at Walmart. I think I will!

www.coupons.com is the site that I use. I also go directly to manufacturer websites. Some send coupons to your email if you sign up for newsletters. I have an email account that is used just for that. Some will even send coupon booklets to your address.

My local Target doesn't even blink if I hand them a coupon. I have had no problems with printed coupons either.

My Wal-mart checker did tell me that WM is only accepting Internet printables in COLOR because people have been photocopying and abusing our coupon privileges. Not sure if it's companywide, but I'd be sure to check.

I use the printable coupons all the time at Target and CVS. Target has their own printable coupons on the web that you can stack with the manufacturer coupon to get things for really cheap or free.
