I just got back from a movie. It was a comedy and it had some funny scenes and I laughed a few times. Though many of the people in the theatre LAUGHED AND LAUGHED AND LAUGHED! Some of the "heavy laughing" was from the same individuals. It made me think- what is inside these people that they would make them laugh so easily?

Maybe they are overly emotional. Maybe these same people who laughed so much at the movie spend alot of time crying also. Or maybe they lose their temper alot and yell and scream. So, do people who laugh alot spend alot of time crying and yelling too?

I am even temped and do not laugh, cry, yell, scream or get angry.

This is a honest question. I am trying to understand Human Nature!

dh laughs a lot and doesn't cry at all.

I laugh and cry alot.

Maybe they just decided to enjoy the movie? Maybe they were stoned? ;)

what's inside....hmmm....a little pot maybe? :rotfl:

I laugh all the time...i don't cry much at all. :)

I am an upbeat, happy person and I find it very easy to laugh. It takes a lot for me to cry. My friends can always tell when I'm around because they know my laugh.

I'm not sure if I laugh a lot. I do know that I laugh at really stupid things. And once I start laughing, it's really hard for me to stop.

I cry a lot. Just thinking about something sad will have me bawling.

So in my case, it sounds as if your theory is correct. :)

I laugh an insane amount at pretty much anything slightly funny. I don't do the crying thing ;)

I laugh a lot. I rarely weep, but I'm "touched" easily. I sometimes lose my temper. I'm emotional by nature. I like it that way. Better out than in. :) I'm also a "what you see is what you get" kind of person....you'll never see me act one way and feel another.

You must be my twin! I was probably one of the people in her movie. Once I get laughing, sometimes I can't stop, and I will even laugh just as hard later, with a memory of the the funny.

I am a big cry baby. I cry at commercials!

I laugh a lot but hardly ever cry. I think the last time I cried was over a year ago.

Sorry about that. I try to keep it down. :teeth:

It doesn't take much to amuse me. In fact, DBF and I often go to movies where we are the only two laughing. We look and each other and say "That was funny, why isn't anyone else laughing?" :confused3 I am actually a calm person, no yelling from me. I don't *cry* a lot but I do get misty eyed easily.

I laugh a lot and sometimes so hard tears come to my eyes, but I'm not a crier

DH and I laugh a lot, that could have been us at the movies. :teeth: We rarely cry. A friend once told me that I was "easily amused". :teeth:

Me too! Sometimes I'll be holding back hysterical laughter during a serious scene in a movie, because something funny happened earlier. Isn't it awful when you have to choke back a laugh? :rotfl:

I laugh alot and cry alot (especially over some stupid commercial--or when I get really mad)

It takes a lot to make me laugh out loud. Somehow my DS' friends are always able to do it though--must be my immature brand of humor, I guess. :) I used to cry at the drop of a hat but have gotten better about it, thank God as it sometimes was sooooooo embarassing. I am, however, very sensitive and compassionate so I do cry more than the average person.

OMG! I have to tell you about the time I was around 12 years old, and I was at my friends house all day (she lived next door). I was not allowed to listen to Cheech and Chong (they were big in the 70's early 80's) but my friend's brother had a record of their's. So, we listened to it. It was the funniest thing I ever heard.

I go home, have supper, and Green Beret's was on later that night. We were all sitting around watching it, and if you know the movie, there are not too many hysterically funny scenes in it. :rolleyes1 Well, I kept replaying the Cheech and Chong bits in my head, and I had to try to muffle my laughter. It was not working. I finally lost it, and burst out in hysterics. My mother wanted to know WHAT was so funny. I had to tell her. I told her what I had listened to earlier in the day, and she thought it was so amusing that I was still laughing HOURS later, she couldn't even get mad at me!

Alot of times, when I go to a movie with a friend, they will laugh along with me, but later tell me that they were laughing at ME laughing so hard! :rotfl2:

I laugh a lot, cry easily(at commercials and sappy movies and the like), and have a temper, so your theory is correct with regards to me.

Well I don't laught a lot, but once in awhile I will have a laughing spell. Like I will start to laugh at something and I just can't stop. This will go on for awhile. It is ususally when someone does something really stupid and I start laughing at them and can't stop to the point where I get pains in my stomach. Then the person ususally gets mad at me. I don't cry a lot either.
