This is her Joy one and i am making Disgust next. This is our first disney cruise so I am wondering do people wear the ears alot on a cruise like you do at WDW? Like they want different theme ones to wear to dinner at night, etc...

DS wore Mickey ears and I wore Minnie ears on our cruise last month. We received LOTS of compliments. There were also a few ladies who asked me where I purchased our ears. They thought they could buy them on the ship and were bummed they didn't have ears to wear.

I'm platinum and never have seen adults wearing ears and very few kids. Wait, I take that back. I've seen bride and groom hats one time. However, if you want to, go for it! It's your vacation.

A lady at our table had a different set of ears at dinner every night, including ones with lace and tiaras for the two formal nights and one with earrings and a pirate bandana! There was a group of guys we kept running into that had ears on all day, every day. The percentage of ear wearers were lower than at the parks but that doesn't stop anyone.

My developmentally disabled adult son wears Mickey ears all the time. I customized a set for him by slipping the plastic hoop thing out of a pair, then sewed them to a black baseball hat. I'm sure that he'll wear it a lot on the cruise. In fact, I'm planning to attach strings so that it won't blow off.

We were on the Wonder for 15 days. Our DD wore hers on embarkation day. They matched her custom made DCL dress...She was the only one I saw that day with ears on.

We saw a few people wearing them on pirate night, as they were sold in the gift shop. Maybe 10 people?

Mainly, people were in crowns and tiaras for Princess Night and the Royal/Princess Teas. DD and I both wore them on those days. A couple hundred ladies (and some gentlemen) had jewels on their heads at night. One man was in a full blown Prince Charming costume!

Although he didn't wear Mickey ears, my DGS did wear the same Goofy hat his Dad wore 30 years before. [He also got a lot of comments because it was so different than anything available today.]

I didn't wear them last time but they were selling pirate themed ones on pirate night. I plan to buy a pair next time.

I haven't seen them much but it wouldn't be a big deal. The big thing on board is more dressing up and costumes for the younger set.

Thanks so much y'all! We're gonna go for it!! We already all have Ariel Inspired swim suits for the whole family for our CC day! Ariel suits for our girls, a purple bikini top and turquoise green bikini bottoms with a red hat for me and all I could get hubby to agree to was blue swim trunks to represent Prince Eric! Yea we are probably that crazy family I guess! So might as well throw the fun ears in there too!can't wait! !! :)

:upsidedow well, that's a bummer. I guess I'll bring them and scope it out. Or wear them on pirate night.
But I don't want to be that one weirdo adult. LOL!!!! I don't like to stand out.
