Just wondering how many people get to MK at 9am and don't leave to 9 or 10 at night?

if so how do you do it - i wish that i had that staminia.

We do it for 7 or 10 days the last two visits. I'm not sure exactly how we do it, we just persever I guess.

We also do it every year for 5-7 days. We are too excited to leave. We are there for the mouse...we stay with the mouse.

I had wanted to do that, but the group that I'm going with wanted to come back and rest mid day. Plus was have some younger kids that are 4, 5, and 6, so I'm also thinking that they will need to rest so that we will be able to stand them in the afternoon to later in the night.

We never do. We go to a park first thing and then stay about 4 hours or so. We then go back to our hotel and go out again in the late afternoon/evening.

Not us. We arrive just before opening. Stay til early afternoon and headback to rest/swim. Usually return to the park after eating in our foodcourt. Or sometimes have dinner in a park. Then we stay til closing.

Times of year when parks close at 7pm (early) we tend to pick a few days and stay all day....and at least 1 or 2 rest days. Also we tend to park hop. Just hopping to another park...taking the bus or boat, gives a nice respite and you're fresh for the new park.

No way we would go 9-10 in a single day w/out a break. :goodvibes

We have been able to stay all day a couple of times but most days we head back to the room to take a power nap and return the the park a couple of hours later. All the walking and excitment really takes it out of us

We have often planned to go back to the resort to rest or swim on numerous WDW visits but it's never happened. We get so wrapped up in the excitement that the boys (4 and 8) want to stay and ride their favorite rides as much as possible. We tend to stay until the park closes to watch Wishes, Fantasmic, and Illuminations and then head out. We do not do many evening EMH's. When they were younger, we planned rest days every couple of days on a week long trip.

We're never there early enough to truly say we have stayed all day, but we have arrived at 10 or eleven and stayed till the bitter end. Usually on a day when Spectromagic and Wishes is scheduled together. You need alot of time just to pick your seats! Then we make late dinner reservations at a Magic Kingdom resort, because my main problem with MK is the lack of great food. We usually lunch at the Plaza.

We just can't bring ourselves to leave the park mid-day. The time passes far too quickly if you ask me. I always find myself wishing I could have a few more hours!

I have found it works nice (if you have the time) to spend the whole day in the park, take the next day for resting by the pool or shopping, then right back to the park. We have it down to a science so we can usually hit MGM and Ak in the same day and see everything we want to see.

We only do it on the day we go to MGM because we only go there one day. Otherwise we go back to the hotel to go in the pool in the afternoon - 3:00 or so.

We do sometimes. Not every day, but more often than not it seems we do. We do plan to go back to the resort, at least to freshen up for dinner and give the kids a chance to rest; but usually everyone is having too much fun and doesn't want to leave. I have no problem going from early morning until late at night but I have no idea how the kids do it. :confused3 We take small rest breaks during the day, so maybe that helps but I have to tell you, they totally crash once we get back to the resort.

Always stay from open to close. The only reason I wouldn't is if I were park hopping. The only reason I park hop is because of dinner reservations, EMH, or because I reeeeally need to see a certain show before I leave and that was the only time. (That usually only happens with Off Kilter, Main Street Electrical (R.I.P.), and Fantasmic!)

But either way, we never go back to the hotel to rest. I feel that's such a waste of a day. I always plan a hotel/Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island or Jellyrolls day to rest up...but even then we tend to get bored and run to the parks or another hotel for fun activities. :) Just something we've been doing since my first trip to Disney at 4 years old! And that was 21 years ago! yipes!

We usually head back to the room or Tent in our case to swim and relax. we went with friends this past summer and she was go go go all the time. By the middle of the weeks her kids were wiped out. At one point they wanted to go back to the campsite with my son who is 20. She told them that they could go but had to stay at the site and not go swimming.

We usually don't do it when staying in the World... we're usually in an onsite resort and it is easy to get back.

When we go to DL, though, we usually go when dh is staying in Pasadena on business. So we get up at the crack of dawn and take a long drive over, getting there at 8am, and stay well past the fireworks at 9pm. It is amazing but exhausting. You survive by just chilling out when you can. In the afternoon, find a sitdown restaurant or counter-service to relax in, or kick back on a bench for a while. DD napped in the stroller. Then when you're recharged, hit some more attractions.

Problem is, the next day you are absolutely ruined for anything else.

But when we go to WDW, we're usually there a week and we all love to swim so we usually take swim or nap breaks and don't push it to much. If anyone in the group starts to feel like the fun we're having is too much work, that's the cue to chill out.

We have been known to stay the day at MK once or twice, just because nobody wanted to leave. But usually the next day will be extra laid back in our touring or we won't tour at all.

We have fallen in love with our mornings/evenings at the parks routine - and keep everyone bright eyed and headache free with an afternoon nap/swim. We rent a car so that it is easy for us to manage our own time and our comings and goings. Now, when we've gone to Sea World, Univ., Busch - then it's ALL DAY. We try to find a peaceful place to relax for an hour or so mid day when we have to do this. Whatever works for your family...go for it!

We take a break, even when I was a kid and went with my family, my parents had had enough by 1 or 2, we'd go back to the resort for a drink, snack and/or swim, then head back into the parks later for fireworks and a few more rides.

I always take a break or park hop. I've been to WDW so many times that unless I'm with someone who has never been I pretty much refuse to be in one park for an entire day. I've gotten pretty good at managing my time in the parks to hit my personal highlights (luckily my friends agree with me on those) then move on to the next thing I want to do.

We do maybe 2 days with a break in a 6-8 day trip. It always sounds nice to come back and take a break in the afternoon but there is so much to do and so little time that I feel the time wasted just travelling back and forth to take the break just makes it too much of a time waster. We get 8 or 9 hours sleep at night so that is enough rest to keep us going for 6-8 days. If I was staying for 2 weeks or more than yes breaks would be done.
