Do people ever misspell your name??

People were always trying to add an "s" to my maiden name-Hine-not Hines, thank you very much.

The name Katholyn gets spelled all sorts of ways, people think I'm misspelling it  It also gets mispronounced a lot.

Yep, I get Sherri or Sherrie instead of Sherry all the time.
My last name gets spelled wrong all the time, too.

YES!!

M-I-C-H-E-L-E, not Micheal or Michelle (no offense).

Not til I got married. Even some of my relatives that attended my wedding spell it 'Britain'. Oh well...:D

My name is Edie (just like the alphabet letters "E" "D") and it used be short for Edith, but I had it legally changed. I get it spelled as Eddie all the time. Geesh! Anyone who had second grade phonics would now that the double d's would make it Eddie! It used to really bug me, now I just think it's laughable.

Edie

My maiden name was Frye---so it was always Fry or Frey, but never the correct way. I always had to say "Frye with the "e" on the end".

My last name is constantly misspelled. It drives me nuts.

Oldest son's name is Erik and is always spelled Eric.

Meriweather - My MIL spells your DDs name right but gets my daughter's wrong. Her's is Kristen. It's like she doesn't even try to get it right and DD is old enough now to recognize her name.

<font color=navy>All the time.

I mostly get Mary Joe (there is no e in feminine Jo), or they'll put Maryjo. One guy once put Mary Ko - hand wrote it -- my son laughed at me about that one.

... and our last name is forever being misspelled or misprounced -- It's Willey (pronounced like moderator Willie) -- you know, rhymes with hilly .... But, people often pronounce it Wiley (Why-lee), and even spell it Wiley .... drives the kids nuts.

Of course, when I'm asked which pronunciation I prefer, I usually answer, "Mellado" (my maiden name) :p ... and that is mispronounced, too -- it's supposed to be Meh-lah-doe (or the correct pronunciation: Meh-yah-though

Yup!

First, middle, maiden and last. All have been frequently misspelled. The most ridiculous is my maiden name which was Lay. For obvious reasons I was very glad to get rid of it.

People someitmes only use 1 d..
It's Todd...lol

No, but my German surname ALWAYS gets mispronounced, which drives my dad up a wall.

ALL THE TIME!!! They want to spell my first name with two "n's" and you don't want to know what they do to the last!

Our last name is constantly mispelled. I remember once getting into argument with a DMV clerk over it. I think he did not want to issue another license to correct his mistake when I pointed it out to him.

Yes, my first name, maiden name, and last name... I never get a break.

People also try to give a different spelling for my DH's name as well.

My DD is Lauren.. not Laura, or Laurie.. LAUR-EN! Spelled EN, not YN. Although I don't mind the Lauryn...

My son's is easy.. its only four letters.
