Do people actually enjoy these attractions?

Tiki room - First visit was in Spring 2013. Cute if you like the old time animatronics. Still can't get that song out of my head.
Country Bears - First time doing this was 2 weeks ago! More old time animatronics but a big hit with DW - especially "Mama Don't Whoop Little Buford".
Hall of Presidents - We're overdue for a return visit.
Carousel of Progress - One of a select group of attractions we've never done.
Captain EO - One time was fine. Not bad but not really worth a return visit.
Journey with Figment - I'm not a Figment fan, but I know many are. We did this 2 weeks ago as well, and it was meh to me.
Ellen's Energy - Love this when it's really hot out, but we've done it in January as well. It's a significant time investment, but quite well done.
Living with the Land - Another meh ride for me - although the greenhouse portion was interesting. Still can't figure out why this is a tier 1 ride.
Circle of Life - Another one we haven't been interested enough in to do yet.
Movies in the World showcase - Have done them all at least once, a few twice. All are worth while for at least one visit. Some are better than others but it's been too long since I've last seen them all for me to comment intelligently on them. I'm sure some are due for an HD upgrade.

Meh:
Circle of Life (a boring, preachy ride)
Carousel of Progress (okay once, okay if you need some AC)
World showcase movies (most are very dated and the lack of seating just tips the scale for us)

Okay, but not 'must do's':
Living with the Land
Hall of Presidents
Ellen's Energy (love Ellen, wish they'd update it, shorten it)
Tiki Room

Haven't tried the others. After looking at your list, I realized how blah I feel about those attractions. There's a real case for some upgrading, updating, IMHO.

Tiki room- finally tried it last trip and were pleasantly surprised
Country Bears- missed it in the past but might need to try it after reading the reviews here and the success of Tiki Room
Hall of Presidents- I liked it as a kid, glad we watched it last trip but won't do it again for awhile
Carousel of Progress- like it as a kid, DH & I tried it by ourselves and the theater seemed old and gross so I'm not sure we will see again anytime soon, appreciate the history of it more than than the ride itself
Captain EO- haven't tried it, not sure if/when we will
Journey with Figment- got the family to go on it because I remembered it as a kid, none of us were impressed and won't go back
Ellen's Energy- haven't tried it and not sure if we will
Living with the Land- Family Favorite! Love seeing what is growing and how it is growing!
Circle of Life- Always walk by but haven't gone in...
movies in the World showcase- DS tried one or 2 but we haven't made the effort to go to them much

A friend and I ran out of Tiki room mid-show after about five minutes of it. We were about 16 years old and wondered why our parents had never taken us in there. We found out.

My kids love Living with the Land. We skip everything else.

Tiki room - Best! So much fun, super cute.
Country Bears - This is one we hit once in awhile but mostly due to nostalgia.
Hall of Presidents - Skip
Carousel of Progress - Every single time, it's a classic!
Captain EO - Skip
Journey with Figment - We do it but only because there isn't much else going on in Epcot
Ellen's Energy - Skip
Living with the Land - Every other trip if we have time
Circle of Life - Never done it
movies in the World showcase - Canada is a must for us, we just haven't really made an effort to see the other ones.

My personal opinion.

Tiki room This is a classic!
Country Bears Less of a classic, but if you like really corny jokes it's worth a look
Hall of Presidents Another classic
Carousel of Progress Classic if you "get it"
Captain EO Used to like this a lot, seems dated now.
Journey with Figment The original was beautiful, this is fine.
Ellen's Energy Do you like Ellen? I think it's pretty funny & interesting.
Living with the Land Very nice, it's relaxing.
Circle of Life Have seen this several times, barely remember it now
movies in the World showcase The music in the France pavilion movie is beautiful. This type of thing was more entertaining when you didn't have a giant screen with hi def in your living room/den.

We like the Hall of Presidents and Carousel of Progress :). But not really any of the others. Country bears and tiki room were cute to see once!

I'm planning a third trip to DW. First trip my 3 year old was scared of everything so we went on very, very few rides. 2nd trip - we went on a ton and it was fun to see what everyone's favorites were. Me - Haunted Mansion, DH - food & wine festival 8-), 8-year old son - Test Trak, 6-year old son - People Mover (!!!)

Even over a week we couldn't do everything so I'm trying to include lots that we didn't do last time.
BUT... some of these attractions are really questionable. Do people actually enjoy them for what they are, or do they just do it for tradition or sentimentality??
Would kids enjoy them?

I'm thinking about:
Tiki room
Country Bears
Hall of Presidents
Carousel of Progress
Captain EO
Journey with Figment
Ellen's Energy
Living with the Land
Circle of Life
movies in the World showcase

No to all of them except for maybe Living with the Land. I would not go out of the way for any on the list.

Tiki room: Love it now that they changed it back to the original. It is a must do every trip.
Country Bears: It is ok, I do it every few trips
Hall of Presidents: Once every few trips
Carousel of Progress: Love it! I try to do it every trip, but not necessarily a must do.
Captain EO: Love it, but I was a kid-teen in the 80's.
Journey with Figment: Meh...it is nice to get out of the heat if there is no line.
Ellen's Energy: I really like this one, but I love dinosaurs. It is also a great place to get out of the heat for a while. :)
Living with the Land: One of my top favorites! I love seeing the greenhouses and it is a must do every trip.
Circle of Life: I like it, but once every few trips is enough.
movies in the World showcase: Not a big fan unless I can sit to watch.

Where is Journey to Figment and Captain EO? We have been to Disney for 10 years straight and have never done either of these. Is one of them near the building near the land in epcot?

We LOVE Carousel of Progress and Living with the Land, two of our favorites!

We do them all, but prefer some over the others:
Tiki room - Once per trip; classic nostalgia!
Country Bears - Meh. Did it once with the kids; don't really care for
Hall of Presidents - Good once in a while; not a favorite though
Carousel of Progress - Same as Tiki room - once per trip, a classic
Captain EO - Did this for the first time this past August - never again, LOL
Journey with Figment- I guess each time we ride it I hope they transformed it into the original version
Ellen's Energy - Love it. Not sure why. Maybe because the kids love the dinosaur section!
Living with the Land - Love it. Classic Epcot. I hope it never goes away. Wish things like World of Motion were still around too.
Circle of Life - Never did. Not sure why.
movies in the World showcase - Have one them all, and occasionally redo depending on the mood we are in. We enjoy France and Canada over all of them.

We LOVE Carousel of Progress and Living with the Land, two of our favorites!

Journey into Imagination With Figment and Captain Eo are both in the Imagination Pavilion in the South West side of FW.

We love the Ellen ride but my family loves dinosaurs and Jeopardy. We also like the Tiki Room. Being Canadian I have to admit, we skip the Hall of Presidents.

Tiki room - Went on it for the first time since I was a kid in September. Me and DF agreed; not again any time soon.
Country Bears - We only go watch this if its a 2 week trip and we eventually have nothing else to do.
Hall of Presidents - One and Done for DF.
Carousel of Progress - Every single time, it's a classic! FAVE.
Captain EO - Never seen it.
Journey with Figment - Every single time multiple times. FAVE
Ellen's Energy - Never seen it.
Living with the Land - Every time we step foot in Epcot.
Circle of Life - Never seen it
movies in the World showcase - Haven't really made an effort to see the these. No idea.

Enjoy!

I'm thinking about:
Tiki room I do not like it
Country Bears if you have little ones they might like it
Hall of Presidents educational great place to nape for little ones
Carousel of Progress if the wait is not long and you need to rest
Captain EO I have not done it or it has been too long
Journey with Figment yes fun
Ellen's Energy if FL is going to have one of its hour long rain storms or it is really hot great ride as it last about 45 minutes
Living with the Land great slow ride
Circle of Life never done this
movies in the World showcase do you need a break for some and some are really good so it just depends most are not that long so give some a try if you have time you might learn something

Tiki room

Carousel of Progress
Captain EO
Journey with Figment
Ellen's Energy
Living with the Land
Circle of Life

Here's my rundown on this:

Tiki room - This one is a mixed bag. I liked it as a kid. Then they changed it to have Iago and company...that was annoying. Then they changed it back...and the magic was gone. I don't know if it was the memory of Iago or if I just didn't care for it. The thing with this one is that it is easy to get into and a good rest. A first time will probably enjoy it but I don't know if watching it over and over is worth while.

Country Bears - This is another fun one from childhood. It's still good fun. Not an every trip attraction, but one that is worth checking out! What's not to love about Big Al?

Hall of Presidents - This is a tough one for me. I love history (majored in it). I took an entire course on the Presidency of the U.S. and studied each President because I was fascinated with it. I can't stand this attraction! I don't know why but I have always found it boring. A lot of people like it (most of my family loves it). I guess this is one that you have to try and see how you feel about it.

Carousel of Progress - Childhood favorite, but I have not had a single inclination to see this attraction since I was a child.

Captain EO - Do you like Michael Jackson and corny science fiction? Go for it. If you don't, avoid it. Nothing spectacular...was probably a bigger deal int he 80s. I think it's only in the park to fill a void until they find a better attraction.

Journey with Figment -Even with the changes they have made to this ride, I have always enjoyed it. If you have kids, take them on this. They don't know what it used to be like anyway so they will love it!

Ellen's Energy - IMO a complete waste of time. It's about 45 minutes long and, for me anyway, a complete bore. I'm not interested in it at all.

Living with the Land - If you've never done it, check it out. It's got some interesting stuff but not a repeater.

Circle of Life - Do you want a pitch on recycling and environmental issues? Go for it! Otherwise skip this one and go ride Soarin instead!

movies in the World showcase - Yes! If you are interested in the culture of the country you are in, check out the movie if they have one. I always enjoyed the 360 degree screen (circle vision) in Canada!

Tiki room - Sometimes!
Country Bears - Sure.
Hall of Presidents - Rare
Carousel of Progress - ALWAYS!!!
Captain EO - No.
Journey with Figment - YES!!
Ellen's Energy - No.
Living with the Land - YES. My favorite ride
Circle of Life - No.
Movies in the World showcase - No thank you

Must-Do's are Carousel of Progress and Hall of Presidents

Everything else is absolutely worth doing and you can decide if they become mainstays. Enjoy your trip!

I absolutely love Carousel of Progress and Living with the Land. They are non debatable must-do's! They're also towards the top of the list of my favorite attractions. We try to do Ellen's whenever there's time, since we do really enjoy it, but it is pretty long.

Tiki Room-an absolute MUST!!! We went three times during our recent two days in DL

Ellen's Energy, Living With the Land, WS films, Journey with Figment-almost always

Hall of Presidents, Circle of Life, Captain EO, Carousel of Progress-every other visit perhaps

Country Bears-my parents and I walked out partway through during my first visit in 1975. Haven't been near the place since. I never subjected my kids to it.
