Disney raised prices on May 23, '99 for all tickets except AP/PAPs and raised those in October '99.
Disney raised all prices on January 8, 2000 for all tickets.
Disney raised all prices on January 9, 2001 for all tickets.
Disney raised all prices in September 8, 2002 for all tickets.
Disney raised all gate prices on June 1, 2003 except AP/PAP. Advance purchase prices and AP/PAP did not change in '03.
Disney raised UPH prices in February '04, PH/PHP's (Gate & Advance), AP/PAP's, FL Seasonal in March 28, '04, and single day admissions to water parks & DQ in October '04.
Disney completely redesigned their ticket offerings and raised prices on January 2, 2005.
So while January has been the preferred month in three of the past six years, it doesn't necessarily mean that they will be raising prices in January 2006. One thing that Disney works diligently to avoid is creating any hard patterns for ticket increases. In their 34 year existence, they have been very successful at it.
