DO Park tickets and DDP need to be the same?

Let's say my aunt and uncle get two rooms at a value for the two adults and three children. They want 7 day base tickets and the DDP.

Can my sister & I be added to their room with only the DDP? Do we need to have the exact same park tickets? I was thinking about getting us 10 day no expiration for us to use in the future. Would that be okay? I know we all have to be on the same DDP, but do the park tickets have to be the same?

If it's not okay, they we won't be in their room, so will we have trouble dinning together when five are on the plan and two are just paying separately? I know separate checks are a pain for servers and I don't' want to be annoying diners for 8 days.

Everyone has the has the same for the package but you could get the 7 day base tickets as part of the package with your Aunt and then upgrade your tickets to 10 day non expire after you get there.

Tickets can be upgraded within the first 14 days of use.

What if we had just our own room with no park ticket & no DDP, would we have trouble eating together?

I am not sure why you would need 8 different checks. If the other members of your family are travelling as a group then 1 check will be fine for them and another for you and your sister. Even if you and your sister got separate checks there still should be no problem, Just let your server know right away that you will need separate checks and how they need to be divided.
