Borrowed this from the Community board. Thought some might like to get pics.

This week is prime viewing for a ISS passover (flyover). Last night the magnitude was a -3.3 and it was PHENOMENAL. My kids were very excited. It is so bright you will be able to see if from anywhere (including cities).

Check out Heavens Above to see when the ISS will passover you location.

Cool, thanks for posting. Looks like the next best time for us to see it is tomorrow night. Can't wait!

Fron where we are it can be seen for 6 mins tonight around 10.21pm and there isnt a cloud in the sky. I'm looking forward to it. Thanks

DW and I just saw it in northeast Arkansas and it was really neat. Pretty small, but neat! DW was actually the one that spotted it. I'm hoping to maybe try and get a shot that simply shows it tomorrow night.

I decided to get my camera out for this streak in the sky.

Here's from the first pass over Reno this evening around 8:53pm. This pass was almost directly overhead. This was a 5 second exposure at 75mm.

And the second pass around 10:30 pm. This pass was much further to the north. This was a 15 second exposure at 160mm.

And since I had the camera out I snapped a couple of the moon also.

All of these are crops of the originals. The first is with a 500mm mirror reflex and the last two with a 70-300mm.

Next I'm off to clean my sensor! ;)
