I tried the cheeseburger pod and wasn't a fan. I'm not sure if I want to try one of the satu'li bowls. I've eaten everywhere else in AK and really want to have something different.
Just for future reference, all quick service locations should have an ingredient list.I know - I wish they had icons on menu items to make it a little easier to decipher! When I asked the first cast member about the sauces and bases that were vegetarian, she said, "All the bases and sauces are vegetarian, but not all are vegan". Great! Since I eat dairy and eggs, I figured it was a slam dunk. At the counter, I decided to double check with another cast member and he said, "As long as you eat chicken and fish, you're fine." Okayyyy...so I told him I was a vegetarian, and he said "Well, there are all kinds of vegetarians. Some eat fish, some eat chicken and some eat dairy." I reiterated that I was a strict vegetarian (no slaughter by-products) - not a pescetarian, a part-time vegetarian or a vegan - and he said, "Well, if you won't eat fish then I'm not sure what to tell you." I figured it was easier to just go somewhere else.
I have found that some people are confused about the difference between vegetarian and vegan. So they may have been unsure if there was dairy or eggs in something. Although, they should have a menu with little icons for vegan, gluten free, etc to make it easy for CMs to answer questions.
What were you thinking it would be?
I thought "slow roasted sliced grilled beef" might be more impressive than the roast beef you get at the deli counter at the grocery store

I am not a Disney cast member, but reading this, I have to admit that I'm confused about what food you were looking to be served.
You're a strict vegetarian, but not a pescetarian or a part time vegetarian or a vegan, correct? So what do you eat? IDK based on your statements.
I'm not trying to be snarky, but I would guess that I'm older than you, and all these eating terms have changed quite a lot during my life span.
Lol Wow I guess you REALLY didn't like it! Mine was much better quality than that. lol
Pescatarian- eats fish, seafood but no chicken or meat
Vegetarian- no fish, seafood, chicken or meat
Vegan- no fish, seafood, chicken, meat, eggs, dairy.
As a vegetarian we can have dairy and egg in our diet but no flesh of any animal.
Based on the CM's response that there are "all kinds of vegetarians" @punkin712 's response makes complete sense. A vegetarian doesn't eat anything from slaughtered animals. Someone that eats fish isn't vegetarian, nor is someone that eats chicken, or fish stock, or chicken stock, or beef stock, etc. There aren't "all kinds of vegetarians" - you either eat animal flesh and products derived from it, or you don't, no matter what animal it's from.I am not a Disney cast member, but reading this, I have to admit that I'm confused about what food you were looking to be served.

I have to say when the picture someone produces to make the case that it wasn't good literally makes my mouth water I suppose I may have to give it a shot.

We can't wait to try the cheeseburger pods here, but I can't decide on dessert, as it's between the cheesecake or heading to Pongu Pongu for the pineapple cream cheese spring rolls. Can anyone help me make up my mind?
