In order to get the 25 night room block do my guests have to book with Disney or do they just need to stay in Disney property?

I am not sure if it nmakes a difference who they book with?

Also, why do I have to have a 25 night booking? Is it just so we get a free night?

Many thanks!:thumbsup2

When you set up your room block with your wedding coordinator you will select 3 hotels that can be booked at a discount. You will be given a special phone number to call in order to book those discounted room. There's been some changes lately and now only those rooms, if your guests book them, will count towards your free night. Any other rooms booked through Disney will count towards your room night minimum but not towards your free night.

I don't know why they do this but if you don't think you'll fill it you can always talk to your planner and they can work with you.

My planner waived my requirement. I just explained to her that a lot of my family and friends have time shares and will be staying outside of Disney.
