Do monthly payments continue into following year?

2011 was the first year we paid our dues monthly. Will the monthly payment method be in effect until I decide to pay in full again or do I have to call member accounting and request it each January?

Payment methods do not change unless you request a change.

Just be sure to check your dues statement (or the Dues section online in your account), because, at least for me, the first and last month tend to be rather different. This January's payment, for me, is going to be QUITE a bit more than usual, far more than the rest of the year.

Plus, January is when Disney adjusts/bills ... so as I recall the January payment is pulled from your checking account much later (and in a different amount) than other months...I remember that tripped me up my first January!

I pay close attention to the monthly amount coming out of my checking account (so I can balance it!), but not so much to $$ per point in dues (I actually don't really want to know -- I might find it "too expensive" so in my case, not knowing is a case of "ignorance is bliss!") so I am not at all good about "guesstimating" my new monthly amount each year...so January can be a bit challenging...between taxes due (I pay quarterly), Christmas bills, and a new unknown Disney deduct...but it all settles out by February...

Yes, any under/over payment of taxes is adjusted in the January payment. And if you normally have your draw on the 1st, all January payments are drawn on the 15th (sometimes a little later). You would then return to the 1st of every month, if that is your normal draw day.

If you were signed up for automatic monthly withdraw, it will continue the next year even if you paid off your balance with a credit card mid-year.
