Just wondering do the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets usually sell out? What about for Oct. 31?

The closer you get to Oct 31, the greater the chance for a sell out. Also, Friday nights tend to sell out.

Oct 31st sells out first. Esp. if it's on a weekend.

Anyone know when they go on sale this year?

Last year they went on sale May 1st so just keep your eyes peeled.
I think here on the dis we know a couple of days in advance when they will go on sale.

I've gone the last two years and the 31 sold out both of them. The weekends do tend to sell out first.

Many days won't sell out until much closer to the event. So far Halloween is the first to sell out and can do so over the summer. This event is becomming very popular. So, if you want to go get your tickets early. I'm also worried w/ the ebay selling of those tickets that Halloween day might go even earlier.

What do you MNSSHP veterans think about the first party...Friday, September 30? That's the only day DS and I can go, so we'll be there whether it's crowded or not. I'm wondering though, crowded because it's a Friday night, or not crowded because it's so early? :confused3

I bet that first one would be a great one to go to. I say go for it! As for the party tickets on the 31st, it sells out within a couple of months- fast but not as fast as U2 tickets or anything. You don't have to rush out and buy them first thing. :earsboy:

I'm not sure about the first friday, but we went to the 2nd MNSSHP on Oct 3 (Sunday) last year and it was not busy at all...nor was it sold out when we got there at 7:00pm.

So with the party being on Thursday the 27th, Friday the 28th and Sunday the 30th, would the 27th be the best bet with the most tollerable crowds?

We are going to Disney for the first time in October. Could someone give me more info on this? What does the ticket get you and so forth? I am clueless :confused3

MNSSHP is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. The party goes on from 6:00pm to midnight in the Magic Kingdom. :)

It's a special ticketed event that takes place after the Magic Kingdom has closed. The dates for the party are: Sept. 30, Oct. 2, 4, 7, 11, 13, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31. Because it is a special ticketed event, to get into the party you have to buy a ticket to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Your park ticket or annual passport will not get you into the party.

Last year the tickets went on sale the 1st of May, so if you want to go to MNSSHP, make sure to watch for when the tickets go on sale.
You can order them online from walt disney world's official website or by calling Disney.

With the MNSSHP it will let you into the Party. If you're not going to be at the Magic Kingdom during the day and don't want to use a Park Ticket. Then you'll be able to enter around 4:00 pm. You will be given a wristband so they castmembers know you're staying for the party.

I haven't been to MNSSHP but am going this year and it should be so much fun!! :flower:

Here is a link from wdwinfo about the party: http://www.wdwinfo.com/holidays/halloween.htm

I hope what I said makes sense. :wizard:
