Do men really wear Crocs?

I've seen a few men wear them. I was hanging with some guys (14-17 old) and they said, "no way, that would make me gay." No offense was intended.

YEP !

Just saw this from the Today Show

Tim Mcraw, Al pacino and Adam sandler are mentioned wearing criocs and I just saw a picture of Jack Nicholson wearing a light blue pair.

Well, I bought my DH a pair of black Crocs. I shared the above post with him and many of the others and I hope he will believe that other men wear them. We live in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware which is a beach town so it's hard to judge from here. He is a Jack Nicholson fan. Thanks. He says he will wear them for his Disney shoes and that's it but I'm oKay with that. :cool1:

Disn't see any men wearing them when I was just there, but I did see a lot of boys wearing them. :wave2:

Everytime DH sees someone in Crocs he cringes. He then says the same thing he says everytime. "Those are the butt ugliest shoes I have ever seen." So I do not think there is a snowballs chance in hell he will be wearing them. :rotfl2:

Not real, real, men. Real men go barefoot! :rotfl2:

I bought my truck driving MAN some yesterday actually. He vowed that he would never put those ugly things on his feet (until I caught him wearing mine around the house one day. :rotfl: )

And I saw Terrell Owens with them on during his interview the other day.

Why wouldn't a man wear them? Not only are they extremely comfortable, they are also very convenient around the pool, locker room, etc. Plus, how many shoes have the endorsement of such a wide variety of career fields: Medical, food service, etc. To the men of the world, I say "Go For It!". Keep checking the Crocs website as they are coming out with new styles for everyone's tastes, here's one that might be considered "more manly":

My very manly uncle has a pair of Crocs....baby blue in color. He justifies the color by saying it was the only pair they had in his size. ;)

I was at Omega Sports just a little while ago, and tried a pair for the 1st time. I am a man who is definitely going to get a pair, but I am waiting for them to come out with the Disney versions in Sept as I have read about here on the boards. Think Mickey on my feet will feel pretty good! Especially in WDW!

"Real Men" don't care about what others might think of what they are wearing. :)

I broke down and bought a pair (tan) a couple of months ago. I think that I am going to get another pair before we go to WDW in September.

Good point, cosine4! ;) My DH loves his Crocs! As do my 18 yo son, my 9 yo son and my 2.5 yo grandson! :thumbsup2

I had to convince my husband too. He happily wears them when we're at WDW, but I don't think he's worn them since we got back. I know he liked them though, so he'll be wearing them again when we go back next summer!!

Well, we are back from our trip and yes I had bought him Crocs and yes he wore them. The bad part though, he waited until day one of our trip to wear them for the first time. Sure enough he got a blister where the "button" part rubbed his foot near the instep and was miserable. He said his feet themselves never hurt but by the end of our 8 day trip he had blisters all over the top of his feet. When we discovered that the gift shop sold moleskin they were already open so it couldn't really help. When I was packing I had packed his sneakers and he told me to take them out because he wouldn't want them. He regretted that by day 2! Moral of the story...always break your shoes in before your trip, no matter how comfortable they are supposed to be. My daughter and I had no problems but of course we were already wearing them for weeks before.

Ouch!! What a story! I'm sorry your husband had such a bad time with them. I've actually never heard of that happening before. I guess even though a lot of people love Crocs, everyone is different, so you just never know until you try them.

Here's hoping for happier feet next trip!!

We were at WDW last week and I saw many men wearing Crocs in many different colours. Everyone in our group was wearing them and no one had any foot complaints at all. They were particularly good to have on after Kali River Rapids and Splash Mountain!!!! I will never wear anything else to WDW again. I teach school and plan on wearing them to work next week. My feet always ache the first few weeks of school - not this year!

Okay, I like to be able to do WDW without blisters; I just can't bring myself put on such ugly shoes. I looked on the croc website and found Croc Islanders that didn't look too bad. My question is has anyone used the Islanders? If so did they have blister problems. The top boat-shoe looking section looks like it could cause problems. Here's a pic in case anyone is wondering what they look like:
