Do MB's fall off?

Just wondering as I look at pics of the MB's, they don't appear to fasten. They look like those cheap kids bracelets that have the peg that pushes through one of the holes, and with any resistance would just pop right off. Would make me nervous with the entire vacation linked to those things, them falling off with all of our dining credits ready to use by someone who picks it up? Just curious, as we are definitely still NOT going to Disney this year because of the fp+, But just want to know in case....maybe.....if they announce FD in September, we may want to just split our trip half universal half somewhere else just to maybe....try it out

Very rarely, I've had mine on for 6 days and it's not fallen off yet!

They are like that - with the peg that goes through the hole - but are in there pretty securely. We never had a problem with them becoming loose or falling off. And they were pretty comfortable as others have said. And please don't let FP+ keep you away, we had a great vacation with magic bands and FP+! Good luck for free dining!

With 9 people over 6 days in August, not one of us had a band fall off! They are pretty secure once fastened

We wore ours for 10 days without any problems.

I found a grey one on the ground outside Pinocchio's House during a MVCP. I picked it up and gave it to the CM holding the door open.

My 5 year old and I wore them for 5 days and they never got loose or fell off. They seem pretty secure.

We had a group of 25 family members, with kids aged 17years old to 7 months old, in November. Not one person in our family had their Magic Band fall off.

I've had mine pop off 3 or 4 times when taking off or putting on my backpack. Other than that it has not fallen off.

Mine have never fallen off.

If you don't pull on them, they probably won't fall off.

If you pull on them, or they catch on something, they could fall off.

Ours never fell off. On a side note we actually ran over one(on accident) and the band still worked. Disney has to know they are going to take some abuse.

Ours have never fallen off.
DH wore his constantly for 14 days....slept with it on, showered with it on....no problems. He never wears anything on his wrists and found it comfortable.

I guess I'm in the minority, but mine did fall off several times in our vacation. And it was just when I was randomly walking and it would fall off in the walkway. People stopped me a couple of times to return it.

16 days of taking it on and off and 7 of us never had a problem with it popping off.

DS11 couldnt leave the damn thing alone and the color part started to separate from the rest )where it is supposed to for small children) but that was the extent.

What we did have trouble with were the stupid accessories you can buy and put in the pegs. We had 12 pieces on 4 different MBs and only 2 pieces survived. Do not buy this overpriced junk unless you only put them on the bands when you are not wearing them...

No manufactured item is perfect, and some body inevitably will have an issue.

That being said, over 18 days at the parks and resorts since last September, neither my boyfriend or myself has ever had our bands fall off, and this includes water park and pool days where we wore the bands.

Also I don't know how dining credits are handled, but in order to charge something with the band the person using it has to have the correct pin code. So if you lost yours, no one could go on a charging spree using your band.

My DH lost his the first day on Rock n Roller coaster...went to grab the handles by his head and hit where the band laps over and it popped right off and is now lost in the RnR darkness. But we didn't have any other problems after that

Never once had an issue and agree not to let FP+ stop you from enjoying WDW. We are not fans of FP+ but we made it work and had a fabulous trip!

My sister's came off one time after she had been holding her grandson but other than that no one in our group of 11 over 10 days lost theirs. They are more secure than you would think.
