Do Maintenance Fee's ever go up??

Can someone (if possible) put down the maintenance costs per DVC resort and if they ever go up?? Thanks!!

you asked in the right spot! some people here have complete lists of all years they have owned. They can and have gone up, by small amounts, they have even gone down once or twice, I don't recall exactly as I just joined this past year.

But I know people have this answer and THIS time I will keep track of the thread, now that I am a member.

Indeed they DO go up. I am not sure of the others, but

Yes, dues can go up (and down). FL law has a provision that keeps them from being able to increase more than 15% in any one year. To date, the increases have been quite modest.

Rounding to the nearest penny, here are the dues for 2000/2001/2002 by each resort.

OKW - $3.16/$3.13/$3.22
BWV - $4.02/$3.83/$3.92
HHI - $3.26/$3.32/$3.49
Vero - $4.08/$3.98/$4.17
WVL - NA/$3.63/$3.80
BCV -- opening at $3.77

I think OKW has averaged slightly less than a 5% annual increase. They started a little over $2 back in '92 and are $3.17( I think that is right) today.

That's true, but is skewed by the increases early on. In 1993, dues were $2.56. In 2002, $3.22. However, between 1993-1997 the dues went up roughly 5% per year. In 1997, the dues were $3.14. Today's $3.22 dues are only a 2% increase over the last 5 years.
