Do Magic Bands from other trips still have all info on them?

We got Magic Bands for our trip in December. Now we have the option to customize again. Hubby & DS14 picked new colors. DS11 picked the same. I was going to pick pink again but then thought about blue to match them to my outfits Will my Band from Dec still work as my ticket, room key, & have spending privileges on it?
We will have 3 Bands each at this point. (one from Dec, one AP, & June trip) Do we bring them all?

No information is stored on the Magic Bands, it just links to your MDE account. You can take as many as you want and all should work. Notice I said "should". On our February trip we had four bands and none of them worked until several CM's worked on them. I take all mine...a gal has to be color coordinated. If you have some that don't work they can be fixed by a CM.

With at least one exception that I know of. If you play Sorcerers of the MK, it is linked to specific bands. This caught us off guard that we had to start a new game since we didn't have our old bands on us. A quick txt to dad and the old bands arrived with him so we could continue the old game. I now have labels on the bands so we know for future trips and we'll have the correct bands in the MK when we want to play that game

Turns out they do keep some sort of information on them... We found out that last week rather by surprise.

We had just checked in and headed to MK. We stopped in at Cosmic Ray's for lunch and were on the DDP. We tapped a band to pay and the cashier said to enter our pin. I looked at her funny and told her we didn't set up a pin, we just checked in and didn't have to do that... well, I tried our room number, that didn't work.. and then, on a lark, I tried the pin from the last time we were there (fortunately I have a routine pin number for things that aren't my bank card.. lol..) and lo and behold, it worked... it was kinda weird and kinda scary.. I know for a fact that the magic band I was using was a different one than the last time, and all 3 that I had with me (HEY! 3 different colors, a girl's gotta accessorize!!) they all worked with that pin, no problem. So.. yeah.. there's that.

That's right, the PIN is for the account not the MB.

Think of it like a credit card.

A list of what you have purchased with the card is not recorded ON the card.

Only your NUMBER and other info is recorded on the card (same info that is printed on the card.)

If you want to check a balance or check what you have recently purchased, that info must be found through your account by contacting the Credit Card company.
