We're paying OOP for the meals, fwiw.

For those who want, say, chicken fingers or cannot handle an adult portion in the middle of the blazing florida day, can they order off the kids' menu?

Or, can I at least split a meal amongst two of them?

At an a la carte restaurant, you and/or your kids can order whatever you want. Adults (e.g., anyone over age 10) can order off the kids menu if they want to.

At buffets, you will be charged based on the age of the diner, regardless of what that person eats.

Thank you!!!

I had the same question. Now that the kids meals are finally more nutritious, my DD was being aged out!!! Also, I've been reading the menus wondering what in the world she could order at most of these places!

I am so glad to hear that we can order from the kids menus!

Does anyone know why it says only to age 9 on the kids menus?

(We're paying OOP, too, and dont mind the buffet charges since we know there will be food that she will like there). :yay:

I think the kids menus are tied to pricing on park tickets. Disney treats 10 year olds as adults for ticketing purposes, so they carry it over to restaurants as well. Then the buffets and family style places charge adult rates for those 10 year olds.

Oh, and I do. I'm nearly 20 and I love the kids quesadilla that they offer... someplace. I think it's in the MK, and I know it was for kids 9 and under.
