Im trying to book CRT but we are using a dining plan and its telling me I have to pay in full right now. Do I really have to?

I have never paid it in full. You have to click on I want to use my dining plan to make reservation and then select the meal and you should only have to give your CC for security purpose. Make sure it doesn't say that you have to prepay.

Just call Disney Dining and let them take care of it for you. You still have to use a CC to hold the reservation but they will not charge you.

I have never paid in advance for CRT, just call the ressie line and make sure you have your reservation (Hotel, that is) # and they will take a CC as a guarentee but they will not charge the card. :thumbsup2

Okay I just made a reservation a few minutes ago and it stated that I had to pay in full but it did not charge my card and still gave me a confirmation number.

Just be sure you really weren't charged. That feature of the system has been very fickle lately. I have made them successfully online in the past, but this time I couldn't get it to just do a cc guarantee without wanting to charge me, so I waited and called.

This is exactly what I do and I have not been charged yet...of course like the PP said, you do have to give them your CC just to hold your table. Your CC will only be charged if you decide not to show up for your ADR without the proper cancellation notice.
