Do I really have an extra day? Salute question.

I was reading a different thread and now have a serious, plan changing question. My mother and I went for 3 days in November on Salute tickets. I thought they expired after 10 days but I read here that any remaining days stay on until September. Do we really have a day in the Disney "bank" we can still use?

There are new Salute tickets every calendar year. Last year (2015) the Salute offer ending date was extended from September to December.

Your last day of your 2015 Salute ticket expired in December of 2015.

The new 2016 Salute tickets started this January, and will expire on December 19th of this year.

If the redemption period hadnt expired, then yes, you would have had a day left on that ticket. The military salute ones don't have the 10/14 day "use or lose" expiration. Like the PP said, the dates for 2015 tickets are done.
