Do I print the design and iron it on a shirt?

As the gardener Ralph Snodsmith always says, "read the label directions."

I just finished reading the HP instructions for my dark transfers. It states:

"Set the print quality to BEST."

I guess we need to each check the transfer instructions we have to determine if we need to do this or not. I will say, I had one design (red background) that I didn't want to waste all that ink on so I printed it in "normal" quality. Well, ... it's ORANGISH RED! :sad2: Ah well, I'm not using another transfer on it; it'll have to do!

Okie Dokie. Well, I printed one using the Normal setting. Even though the HP directions says to use the Fine setting. They were right! So far I've wasted two pages!

THANK YOU THANK YOU

I could not figure why nothing would go in mirror image. I had to go into my printer and take mirror image off of off and then onto on. :)

Run the design on the light/white transfer paper. Just remember to reverse the image--mirror image and then print it out. Just in case here are a couple more hints. You need to set the printer to "transfer paper, then click on the advance button, arrow down to where it says, "mirror image" and set it to "yes" click ok and then be sure your transfer paper is in the printer the correct way and off you go to print..I am not trying to be a smart aleck, but when I first started making shirts, I made serveral mistakes and they were costly...good luck
