We're going out for our second DLR trip end of May/early June. We're going to have a 6 day Park Hopper and I've been doing tons of research, but for that length of time do you think I should purchase TP or Ridemax to help with our plans? I've already got TP for WDW but not for DLR.

Suggestions?

You wont need to purchase ride max. That is PLENTY of time to just take your time and enjoy the parks how you want to.

You should be able to do everything in both parks on your own time, so dont worry about planning your days to much or purchasing somethign like that.

I would obviously plan ahead for what rides you would like to get fast passes and know what rides you should book to on Rope Drop (i.e. Toy Story Mania in DCA and Peter Pans Flight/Dumbo in DL). But other than that just enjoy your trip!

I really do not think anyone really needs either, but others will chime in saying the opposite. With a little research and a game plan the trip should go smoothly. We always make reservations for the sit down places, just in case.

That has been my feeling. We're some some reservations but since we had as much time alloted for DLR as we do, I thought we could see everything we wanted to. We go commando style at WDW and since there will not be any time lost for travel to different parks, I think if we use FP, one MM, and at opening on the other days, stay till close, we can do almost if not everything we want to do.

If you go first thing in the mornings and have MM you will most definitely get to do everything in that allotted amount of time. Your good to go as far as planning in any case. SO i would take it like you do at WDW and just have fun, relax, and enjoy!!!

I do agree though that you probably need an ADR if you want to do any dinning in the park though!

As much as I know DLR like the back of my hand, I always like to have predicted wait time time data. In the past I have laboriously gotten that from TM. Now TP offers it in an easier formet. As much as I love RM I will probably use TP in the future because it suits my needs better. I just did that at WDW last month - used TP's wait time predictions.

As for following an itinerary, I think RM is better than TP. I like itineraries until I get comfortable. On my first two trips to WDW I made itineraries. On my third trip last month I did not. So no need for RM.
