Do I need to confirm?

I booked our upcoming trip back in June. I got all the confirmation emails and when I log into the system, it shows our room ressies correct.

With our trip coming up in a few weeks, do you think I should call and confirm or just believe that everything will be okay when we get there?

I did request a king bed and that is listed right on my online reservation (I know it isn't a guarantee, but more of a "hope-for" ) and I'm just wondering what I should do?

Would you call or hope for the best?

If it would make you feel better, then, by all means, give Disney a call. I book my vacations nearly a year ahead of time, look at them all year long and have never had a problem upon arrival.

I wouldn't call -- you have a reservation -- you have the paperwork - you are good to go.

LOL I'm wondering if I'm worrying about something I don't need to, ya know?

If I get increasingly panicked as it gets closer, I'll just give POR a call.

I also book our trips almost a year out but I do call and confirm hotel, car service or rental and grocery delivery, if we're having it. I don't call for ADR's because when you arrive you can have all of them printed out and if there is a problem they have always corrected it at the hotel...and I believe the less your ADR's are changed the less trouble you'll have. I confess I don't understand folks booking double ADR's or changing things all around.

There have been many here that have called to check on things for some reason or another only to have everything canceled when the time for the trip arrives.

The more times they open your ressie the greater risk something gets keystroked wrong and there is no getting it back.

We never have called to checked and have never had a problem. They also record your inquiries and can use that against you if it becomes an issue. If they don't have anything on record they have no choice to fix it.
