Do I need to change my ADR?

We have a reservation for a party of five, but only four will be going now. Do I need to change our reservation? I am afraid I will not be able to secure another for the same place.

I'd call and see if you can get the places you want for a party of 4, but if not show up and tell them that the 5th couldn't make it. I had this problem in September during free dinning and it was fine. even at places like Le Cellier and Chef Mickey's.

I had booked a party of 4 for CRT in July, but in the end only had 3 people. They were fine with just taking the person off when I checked in.
