Do i need to cancel DME?

We chose to get a rental car instead of using DME now, and I was inable to modify on MDE. Is there any need to call and cancel since we will not be using the luggage tags and my understanding was it was first come first served anyway and they dont hold busses for people?

On the inbound it isn't an issue but if you think of it after arrival or during check in, please make sure your not still booked for the outbound leg! Twice now we have waited for no shows on the way back to the airport, and once went to a resort only to have no pickups !

Yes we will definitely inform the front desk at check in, figured that was the only leg thay may be of issue.

Thanks for remembering that point!! I've also sat on the bus waiting for no shows. That happened at both resorts we stopped at. So annoying.
So yes, stop by the front desk and let them know you won't be using dme back to MCO.
But, you can most likely still use RAC for bag check and boarding passes.

It is polite to call and cancel reservations you won't be using.

But if there is the slightest tad of a chance you will be using Magical Express then do not cancel it.

Just me, if I was already on the way and the only way I had to cancel DME was by using the six dollar a minute Airfone in the seatback then I would skip it.

RAC -- Resort Airline Check-in, "skycap" or "curbisde" check in of bags at your resort, not all airlines participate.
