do I need to call to update credit card?

I misplaced my Disney Visa. I noticed right away and called and canceled. They sent me a card with a new number. I tried to update my card on theDCL site and while it would let me change the expiration and code, it would not let me click anywhere to change the actual number! Is this something that requires a call? Arrghh, I hate calling.

Is this the card you’re using just for your onboard charges? If so, It won’t be a problem. They will verify it when you check in and you can give them the new card.

To add to @SamFaniam 's question; Have you checked in yet?

If you're paid in full but not checked in yet, don't worry, you'll be able to enter your card information again when it's time to check in for your cruise.

If you've checked in already, you should be able to change the number. If not, you might be able to change the card number by temporarily switching your account type to cash and then switching it back to credit.

Oh no, I'm not near checking in, my cruise is in May. I just want to update everything now; I do make payments on it, but I usually do everything online.

I do payments through my TA so I don't know the website but on other websites I've had to delete the card and add the new one as a completely new card.

This happened to me 2 years ago - but my card number was stolen. I went to my online check in and I am pretty sure I removed the card I had used, then added a new card. If you are within a couple days of sailing you will have to do it once you arrive, but otherwise, you should be able to do it.
