Do I need to buy SQUINKIES now?

I was at TRU yesterday and they did not have any because they are having a sale (buy 2 get 3rd free). They did have some of the bigger playsets. Same with the Zoobles.

Didn't matter to me, because we will not be going down that road! I can't take having all this little junk around the house. We have LPS, and that is it!

My suggestion - check with your TRU and see when they get their weekly truck, then get over there that morning and take advantage of the sale. Or trying going on their website now...there are a lot of different items, buy 2 get 1 free. If you spend $100 you get free shipping.

Good luck!!!

I'm wondering if I should buy some now to sale on Ebay later?:rotfl2: I don't think they are a HOT item here. I can walk into walmart and target have my pick. I'm really glad my dd9 doesn't want any!

I scored the big gumball machine 2 sets of squinkie, 2 bracelets and a purse from the buy 2 TRU sale. If DD doesn't want them, I can return them or sell them, LOL!

But my butt is covered if she does want them!

same here where i live..i can go to walmart on just about any given day and they have plenty of Squinkies and accessories

for squinkies yet?

Yes they play it on the air here all the time. DD9 has 3 blister packs and a cupcake house already that she bought with her long saved up allowence right as they hit the store shelves. She was really into them for a month, and likes them but she doesn't seem to really want any more and doesn't play with them as much as she did when they were new. She's funny enough gone back to petshops. The Squinkies repeat with color variations but are not packaged randomly so you can buy blister packs with different colored balls and not get exact identical ones. I think they're a great value as you can get quite a few for under $10.

I ordered on Amazon when they were available. free ship no tax. I only bought a couple bubble packs. If the girls don't want, I'll keep in my birthday gift stash for when they have a party to go to!

I hope my kids want to play with these more than the Zhu Zhu Pets I hunted down last year!

I can't find them in stock anywhere here so I ordered from Amazon. Last week I paid too much but today they have Series 2 and 3 bubble packs in stock for $11 (free ship for Prime). I ordered because I know my dd wants them and now I don't have to run around like crazy looking for them.

A couple of comments:......with NO disrespect intended.

I don't understand how they can be sold or are not yet recalled due to the size of the balls and little animals inside. The seem to be a choking hazard just waiting to happen.

Also, I just love it when the Chinese/Japanese (think Yu-ig-oh) or whoever comes up with the next crazy things. "Lets make lots because those silly Americans will buy them all up and still want me" Haha....they laugh all the way to the bank

They aren't infant toys, and not marketed as them so at some point we should really expect parents to know not to give a baby (or an older child with an oral fixation) these and not expect them to be recalled to protect us silly Americans. You could use the same logic when talking about lego's or superballls, or anything that comes out of a gumball machine, including gumballs, the list can go on an on. Now, if they are found to have a toxic chemical leaching out if them, thats another story and one that would not totally surprise me.
