I am at work and do not have our confirmation number - can I call and make a CRT ressie without it?

Yes you can. I don't stay onsite and I can still make a CRT reservation.

Unless it's more than 180 days out you won't need your reservation number - they'll ask for your telephone number

im not sure about crt cause i have never eaten there, but when i made the dinner reservations for our trip, i had not even booked my stay yet...they asked me when i was visiting disney and i even told them i had not yet booked but i told them the dates i was planning. it was not a problem for me. i have since booked our stay and an additional dining reservation and neither time did they ask me for my #.
