No, only the person who made the reservation needs to check in. You will want to have their Magic Bands with you, though, so they can be activated to unlock your resort room door.I'm wondering if I need DH and teens with me when we check in. If the reservation is in my name, do they need to be present?

No. And if you do online check in, there's a very good chance you won't even need to be present

How do the activate your magicbands to open your door if you do online check-in?
I have a question that is more opposite- if I made the reservation, can my husband check us out?
As long as he is on the reservation, he can check you out. I rarely have actually stopped at the front desk before leaving to actually check out in quite a while unless I knew I had a balance that I wanted to pay with a different card than was on file.

Once you room is assigned, that rooms lock will be coded to match the MBs you have, nothing has to be "done" to your MB.

If you do online check in and receive a text that your room is ready, then you can just head straight to your room. If you receive a text that your room is not ready, then you can decide to either head to the parks or you can go to the check in desk and have them check your reservation and give you information like the resort map and activity schedule. If you don't receive any texts at all then you have to go to the check in desk. Thanks so much! I've just thought of one more question though. If I do online check in, and have the bands, what do I do when I get to the hotel? Is there a kiosk I need to use or is it more that I'm good to go and just wait on the room assignment?
