Do I need data for the DL app if so how much?

From Canada so will have to buy a data plan if I need data to use the DL app. I planed on buying a small amount of Data for google maps but if I need data for the app then I would need alot more I'm guessing? How much data would 4 days of heavy DL app usage use?

There’s WiFi available. I don’t remember it being problematic in summer of 2021, but it could have been. I have not reset my phone since that summer 2021 trip, so I checked cell data usage stats. Cell data usage for for the DL app on my phone is 391 MB. So I don’t think you’d need a whole lot.

ETA: I forgot to mention that I did not download any Photopass photos. That wasn’t an option when I went - but if you’ll have Genie+ and plan on downloading your photos, you may want to take that into consideration.

I always have my data turned off and the app works fine for me
