I haven't seen any info on if I need to bring bugs spray if we go to Disneyworld the end of Sept. Can anyone let me know?

Yes, after forgetting it one year and getting many bites, it's always on my packing list.

We've been in September several times. The place we get bitten by mosquitos is around the World Showcase Lagoon waiting for Illuminations.

Haven't had trouble waiting for Fantasmic.

Just got back yesterday. When we checked in a week earlier (BWV), there was a note warning about some mosquito-borne illness (don't recall what, but not West Nile). They mentioned that they treat all the grounds regularly.

I got a few bites on my ankles, but not too bad

I figured I would need bug spary but wasn't sure. Thanks for the responses.

I was wondering whether we need bug spray in Dec. Can anyone please offer any advice?
Thanks

I've been to WDW many times in December.

Have never needed , or used any bug spray in December.

We have been in Sept and April and we never used any bug spray and I didn't get one bite. I thought it was amazing that there were no bugs anywhere????

We were there last September and all three of us got lots of bites on the first day. I bought some bug spray in the hotel for Day 2 onward. However, my son (a typical 3 year old) scratched one of his bites open and it got infected -- very gross. On our way home from the airport we had to stop in at his pediatrician's office (who was in that Sunday!). So, we learned our lesson. This year, I'm packing those disposable wipes that have bug spray on them. They're small enough to fit in the fanny pack.

I went last Halloween, and did not see a bug anywhere. Just because i didn't see them, though, and I got several bites on each leg (i was wearing shorts one night, and a poodle skirt with stockings on halloween). This time when I go down for Halloween, I am taking the bug spray (and the gold bond cream, in case I do get bitten)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got bug spray that smells like fruit punch, it's actually very nice! Better to have it than not, is my motto. I have been bitten too many times already this summer.
