Do I need beach towels?

such a silly question, but do I need to bring beach towels for our Atlantis or Castaway Cay day?
Do they have them at no charge ready for you? Any clean towel will do, I dont need large beacg towels.

You do not need them for CC, and you do not pay for them. I've not been to Atlantis, so I couldn't advise in that way.

You can take them from the ship for free and return them later.

You don't need beach towels at Atlantis either....they have stations where you can pick up & return towels (no charge)

Towels are plentiful onboard. If you are doing a DCL excursion that requires towels they will be provided at your meeting place onboard. You are permitted to take towels from the pool deck for your own excursion but they do expect you return them. They will have a bin for used towels outside the ship to put them in.

I have found over the years that one of my favorite souvenirs to purchase onboard is a full sized DCL beach towel. I use them for bath towels at home and have tons as I have been collecting them since 1998!

Here is the latest one I purchased on the EBTA on the Magic.



And one a few months ago:


And the one they used to give out as Castaway Club gift which I wish they would do again...just add the other ship names to it and it can be used fleet wide.

Those are some great looking towels. May have to get one on my cruise

Thank you for all your help! I pack way too much ( always!) and if I don't have to pack 4 beach towels I will have room for more clothes.

They used to do buy x amount of stuff (I seem to remember 50 dollars or merchandise) in one of the shops and you can get a towel for 9.99 extra. I don't know if they still do that but you can always as. Typically they run about about 20 bucks.
