I will be in Disney 16th to 23rd October and am wondering if I need to make ADRs and if so will I be able to make them there?

Am I already to late if I do need them as I'm past the 180 days?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

If you have your heart set on eating in a specific place you should make an ADR. They're free and you can always cancel them later.

No, you're not too late unless you want the most popular places. You are just barely past 180!

I always make adr's. I'd rather have it and have the option to cancel later, than want it and not be able to get in. It amazes me how every trip people show up and don't understand why they can't get in at the restaurant they want, and when they want it. if what you want isn't avail. now, you can always keep trying too ;) people cancel all the time!

You should definitely make your ADR's and do it now. :) Things will only keep filling up, but I would guess you would have a decent choice still!

It is my opinon that you should ALWAYS make ADRs if you are certain you want to dine at a particular restaurant. :) That is to ensure you get to dine where you really want.

If you know what you want, there is no harm in making them and canceling later if things change.

That time of year is getting busier because of food and wine fest.

You're def not too late- I've never made reservations 180 days out and always get what I want =) But no harm in making them as soon as you know what you want!

Here's another vote for making ADRs. :thumbsup2 DH and I went in October last year with no ADRs. We lucked out and got ADRs once we arrived for Les Chefs de France, Alfredo's, Jiko, and the Garden View Tea at the Grand Floridian. Keep in mind that we were just 2 people. If you're trying to get last minute ADRs for a party of 4 or more, it would have been a little bit more difficult. They usually only had a very early seating (around 4pm) or a very late seating (around 9pm). We did not have our DS with us, so we went with the 9pm seating. Also, we could not get into any character meals, Cali Grill, Le Cellier, Narcoosee, or Artist Point. All in all, we still had some great meals, but we didn't get our first choices in some cases.

I made my ADRs at the 180 day mark and I still didn't get the times I wanted for some of the restaurants, Chef Mickey's in particular.
