Do I need a travel agent ?

Dining typically defaults to Second Seating. If you are not happy with whichever you have, try to change it on your reservation (through the website or app). Dinner is either ~ 5:45 or 8:15.

You should get luggage tags in the mail, sometime close to sail date.

Stick this in the back of your mind: When your reservation says “Pending” after you submit your info (selfie, photo of passport/Birth Certificate) - It probably won’t be approved until a few days before sailing. This happens to most of us. Chalk it up to very few employees checking everyone’s submission and doing them in order of sail dates.

Congratulations on booking your cruise.

There is a thread on Page 1 of this DCL Forum - “What I need…” (photo below to show you what you are looking for). It should help with knowing what to have on hand at check-in time (next year 🤣 sounds so long away).

Some of it is outdated (all the temporary C19 procedures).

Your booking email from DCL should tell you when check-in is.

Put the DCL app on your phone for a countdown.

When you get close to the 30-day mark, remember check-in starts as soon as that day hits (one second after midnight Orlando time). You don’t have to stay up unless you want an earlier Port Arrival Time or maybe a Royal party that needs tickets (I don’t know that detail).

Thank you! I’ll go check out that thread - but not from the beginning, lol

My check-in starts Feb 1, so I have some time.

I put the app on my phone awhile ago - is that the Navigator everyone refers to? I don’t see a countdown 🧐 - just the booking.

Thank you all for your help - this board is so invaluable !

I’m very happy with 8:15 - I’m not going to see shows every night. I guess they have earlier shows for the later diners?

I love their luggage tags…can’t wait!

Hah, I’ll probably freak out, but thanks for the heads up!

Typically, yes. They have shows at 6 pm, if you are interested. And if you aren't...the waterslides and pools are usually open until 7, so you can do that as well. (Another big advantage of the later dining slot.) If you care for the pirate night show, that's usually in-between the two (like around 7:30) so people can come up between dinner and the show no matter what the order.

Thank you ! Oh yeah, I’ll be taking advantage of that on AquaDuck !

The pirate show should be fun!
