Do I need a PS for Prime Time Cafe? (+more)

I absolutely love that place. It is a must see/eat whenever I'm in the World.

I have had a PS once there, in July of '02, but then just walked-in in Feb of '04.

Is this a popular restaraunt? Will I need a PS in mid-late May? Is there a way to request a server who is really into their role as "uncle" "cousin" etc?

**also, My friend and I are light eaters, and we are going to dish out money at Disney restaraunts only if the theme is really something special. Can anyone recommend other places along the lines of the 50's Prime Time Cafe?

Prime Time can be very popular, especially during the busy season.

If you know you want to eat there, I would make a PS. That way you can be sure you have a seating at a time you want.

I always make a PS for 50's PTC, even if our family is there during "value" season. It's a popular restaurant and wait-times without a PS can be long.

I would recommend PS for any place no matter which season it is. There are times places fill up and there may be an hour or two wait even during the "slow" times.

Whispering Canyon in the Wilderness Lodge is another place like Prime Time Cafe. At least in that all the servers are dressed up and they do odd antics throughout the restaurant.

Several people have reported recently that they were unable to get a PS for 50's PTC so definitely make a PS if/while you still can! Good luck!

I hope i can get a Ps for 50 PCT for September ..My 90 days time is in June

I'd recommend a PS. We were there at the end of Sept, and they were telling people without a PS it would be a 3-hour wait, this was around 4 pm, so not really dinner time yet either.

Better safe than sorry!

I would also make PS. The places that are a must, I always make ps for those.
