We are going to Sea World on the 9th. We planned on checking into POR early in the morning, dropping our bags off, and driving over to Sea World so we could be there when it opens.
Do I need to plan out the day there the way we do for Disney?
We are using our free military tickets, I'm assuming that you don't get the second day for free with those right?

The only real challenge at Sea World is trying to schedule your day around the shows. If you're flexible on the show times, you shouldn't have any planning issues.

Thanks!
Do you know if there is a list of Show times at Sea World available online?

Yes, I agree. We love Sea World and the pace there is slower then WDW but you really need to check out the show times when you get there and plan you day. I am not sure if there is anywhere you can get the show times online. If I find anything on Sea World I will add the link here.

We've found it best to avoid the first Believe show and do other things while a lot of people see that one. Be aware that in summer (we go in Aug) it can be VERY hot at some of the shows. Dress lightly and bring a sprayer-fan if you have one.

Thanks!

On Seaworld's web site - under the tab "plan your trip"; click show times and hours; click the date your interested on the calendar and it will bring up the show times; normally show times are only listed for current month and at a point later in the current month, the next month's show times will also be listed.

If u like coasters do them first and then do the shows...but don't run all over the park to make them make sure you enjoy all of the little things...like the baby dolphins.

I would just add that you should also check the show times again, prior to departure, since SW do make adjustments to the schedule. In our experience we found they eliminate shows times, rather than adding them.
