Do I need a fastpass for frozen singalong?

Going to be a HS nov 29... Do I need fastpass for frozen singalong or Disney jr live? Just don't want to waste them if I don't need it?

I debated this same thing before our trip. We were at studios on Friday October 3. We booked a fp for the frozen sing along and did not need it. In fact, it slowed us down. The standby line was going straight into the theatre while the fp line went slowly due to everyone having to scan a band or card. The entire standby line had passed through by the time we reached the front of the fp queue. I would save your fp for toy story or rock n roller coaster. We didn't do Disney Jr, so I can't report on that.

we went a few weeks ago and there was no need for fast pass. If you go early they have a stand giving you tickets to later shows. If u get one ur in. The fast pass just gets u in the theater a bit earlier so I guess u would get a better seat. I think it would be a waste of a fast pass if they are still doing it the same as when we were there

We got one, but then we needed a third fast pass and there was nothing else we wanted one for.

At Disney Jr., when they start admitting, FP go first. If you have someone who needs to sit on one the benches in the back, or want to be right at the front of the stage, you need FP, otherwise everyone in the stand-by line does get in.

We get one. (We have been 5 times!). I would get one for Beauty and Beast, but it's the same tier as TSMM!

We went to the Frozen sing-a-long Monday and had a FP+. However, we were OK with it being one of our 3, otherwise I don't think it would be necessary. We were sitting kind of far back, and I don't think the people sitting next to us had a FP+. However, right now it's not that busy. I remember stopping and asking directions on the way, then another family heard me and said to the CM, "You mean the Frozen sing-a-long is STILL going on?" Based on that comment, I wonder if attendance was down a little, as people assumed it had ended. Maybe by November, the word will be out that the saint-a-long's still going on and attendance will be back up.

We went yesterday and it was full.
We had Fast Pass and sat about 10 rows back, in the middle section.

We were there yesterday also, and used the standby section. We got there 25 minutes before the show started and people maybe 100 behind us didn't get in.

It is still filling every time but you can get a spot standby, as long as you get there early.

We had one for Dec, 5th but changed it when we decided DGD would not sit through it.

We will be there that week and I booked one for the 13th but then changed it to Star Tours. It is in the second tier.

Don't know if this is your issue, but for new things like the Anna and Elsa meet at MK, the Seven Dwarfs ride, and apparently the Frozen sing along, the FP+ can disappear quickly and could be filled by those with an arrival date before yours or who got FP+ by reserving them as early in the morning as possible (like six a.m.) on the same day you tried for it. When an attraction is already filled for FP+ on the day you are trying for, it is not shown on the applicable page as an option you can choose.

We had that issue with Anna and Elsa for a trip in May 2014. We also discovered that the issue of fullness may depend on number of people you are trying to get for one time. What we discovered is that we could not make Anna & Elsa for three people at the same time. The attraction would not even show on the list when trying for FP+. But if we instead did one person at a time for FP, we could get Anna & Elsa and we eventually got all three (grandma and two grandkids) for three different but overlapping times so that all three had a half hour window to go at the same time.

Today I was able to get FP+ for the sing along, my 2 friends have never been, as well as TSMM for December 14!

I got my FP+ today for a December stay.
For DHS on Dec 18, I only selected 2 options. The system gave me a 3rd FP+ that it selected, and it was for Frozen sing along. I'll decide later if I want to use it or not.

Now, if only I could select both TSMM and Fantasmic.....

The 2 for sure that I pick are the sing along and TSMM, and the "extra" I get has been Tower of Terror....something that I've done a few times years ago and have no interest in doing again!

Just to mention it is possible to go in and remove a single FP after you've made all 3 and still keep only the 2 you intend to use so it would free up the ToT ones you have no interest in. That wasn't always possible but added a few months ago AFAIK.
