i'm so excited for you tinker!!! good for you!!!!! have load of fun with it. i love mine. they have all kinds of new dies coming out this fall. not embossing folders too!!! you will have to try the cut and embossing ones. i love those. i love my pooh one.

in fact i love all the disney ones!!!!

it's an addiction! i can't help it!

i'm thinking i'm going to try flocking my lumpy later on today. after work. i'll let you know how he looks. i got this really great purple flock from this really nice lady.

Yup, you can.

I don't have the cuttlebug, so I don't know how to make that one work. My BigKick came with this adapter plate that has three different thickness settings. By using a combination of those and the cutting plates, I can make any die I have work.

Yes, you can use other other dies...just be careful, I cracked a plate using a sizzix die....

I did it!!!

I got one. They were 40% off at ACMoore. I still haven't gotten to play with it yet...But I hope to today.

Any tips or tricks would be appreciated...

My only tip would be do not leave pop dots anywhere near your cuttlebug. My 3 year old DS got pop dots stuck inside mine and it took my forever to get them out. How did he even get them in

Thanks everyone...I got a cute set of sizzix dies today. Frog (surprise!), gecko, spider and ...something else (can't remember)

After I pick Max up from school I am going to crack them open and try them out...

i do have the cuttlebug but no sidekick. ds decided that he was going to fix mine instead of me throwing it at his head!!!!! it worked for a day then back to being broken. i should run to acmoore and pick one up -if they even have one- because they are 40% off this week.

Reviving this to ask again. Has anyone used these with the sixxiz? What all do I need to get them to work. I love the Nemo one and actually bought it thinking I'd use it for the rolodex swap but since I don't have the cuttlebug I'm not sure what to do.

i have an original Sizzix, and have used the Cuttlebug embossing ones with the adapter attached. I have bought the Disney ones, but have not tried it yet.

I'm going to try and play with this once I get the ABC swap done so hopefully this weekend. I'd love to figure it out so that I can just go to town buying the new dies and not have to get another machine. LOL

i recently bought a cuttlekid for my dd who will be turning 5 soon... better to get her own toys & keep her mitts off my cricut... so am i reading correctly to see that i can't use the regular cuts in her machine? no disney?? should i just take hers back & put out the money for a big one? would she even be able to work it? i'm looking to work on our album again soon but she needs her own "projects" so she doesn't HELP MOMMY!!
