I Booked Cat 10 on Deck 2 for 3 night cruise. Question is there will be 4 of us, DH, DD(6), DS (will be 20 month) and myself, is the room too small for us? I am a light sleeper and sometime don't sleep well in a hotel room. Where do we put the crib? Is DD too young to sleep on the pull down bed from the ceiling? If I want to upgrade to a bigger room (sleep area), what's the next category? Cat 4?

thanks for your help!

a cat 10 inside stateroom should be perfect for your 2 kids. My boys are 6 yrs and 19 months, and our cat 9 stateroom was perfect. DS, 6, slept on sofa bed, and DS , 19 mos slept in pack N play....

We have always had a cat 10 with both boys and DH and there is lots of room, and a railing on the top so that the DS on the top doesn't fall out.

it should work just fine

If you booked two cabins you would be adding significatnly to the cost of your cruise. It does not matter if you have kids in the room or not, DCL prices the first two people in a stateroom the same even if it an adult or a child. So, for two cabins you will be paying the higher price 4 times. You will be fine in one room.
